Our experience selling with Cowling and Payne was absolutely fantastic. We were in a hurry to sell, we got them round for a valuation and were listed the next day. My wife was around for most of the viewings and said that they showed our home off really well. We happily accepted an offer after 6 viewings in 6 days on the market. Thereafter our solicitors were painfully slow, but the team at Cowling and Payne kept chasing them without us asking and generally kept everything moving. We had our home valued by Cowling & Payne and decided to proceed with them to advertise it for sale. Our house sold within just 4 weeks! They arranged a premium listing on Rightmove, provided a guide price valuation, and clearly knew exactly how to market our property — but what really stood out was how they listened to our wants and needs throughout the process. The team was friendly, supportive, and efficient in responding to emails — huge tick! They always called or messaged ahead of viewings to make sure the timing worked for us, and they carried out all the viewings with potential buyers themselves. As a first time buyer, I did not have a clue what I was doing or letting myself in for. I originally went for a property with another estate agent, that I pulled out of due to a bad survey. Their service to me was rushed, uninformative and clearly not interested in my outcome, only their own or that of the seller. However, as a first time buyer I didn’t know any different and thought that is just how it works. Then I found an ideal place that was being managed by Cowling and Payne and the difference in the service provided by them took me by surprise. From the first viewing given by Micheal, who was so knowledgeable about the process of a sale. I asked him to speak to me in terminology I could relate to (Dagenham girl) and he gave me such sound advice. Then once my offer was accepted, I spoke mainly to James and he was so so helpful. He answered any questions I had, chased up the sellers solicitors and was a go between for me and the seller. I really cannot thank this company enough. Im sure my solicitors worked hard behind the scenes but these guys made the process much more relaxed, got me my updates when things went quiet and overall I would 1000% recommend them.
